New Feature Service Orders

Collaborative issue resolution with update notifications.

Service orders give properties and technicians the ability to open a service order and assign it to the appropriate member to be completed. Along with assigning it to a member you are able to set up a completion date, category, and track where in the process the service order is in stages. You can also provide real time updates and attach pictures and documents.

We believe this feature is crucial in increasing communication between service provider and client and know this will result in quicker turn around and a better working relationship.

Creating your first service order

A service order must be created for a specific system at your property. To create a service order, (#1) choose a system and (#2) select "Service Orders".

You should now be viewing the service order section. To begin defining your service order (#3) select the "Add Service Order" button.

You are now able to create your service order. Populate the form with information pertinent to your issue and click save (#4). Any of this information can be edited later. Remember that all items with an asterisk are required.

Your service order is now created! Anyone with access to the property will be able to view and collaborate on this service order. You can update with a comment at any time (#5) or change the status (#6).

To view your service order you can visit this section within the system at any time. You can also access a collection of service orders on all of the properties you have access to in one place. To do so, click the Service Orders option in the primary navigation (#7). Here you will see a complete list of all open and closed service orders you have access to (#8).
